Extraviolette ist eine neunköpfige Band aus Leipzig, die Disco, Funk und Soul auf die Tanzfläche bringt. Mit tightem Groove und unaufhaltsamer Energie schaffen sie Sounds, bei denen man gar nicht anders kann, als sich fallen zu lassen. Live geben sie alles, um ihr Publikum zu packen – euphorisch, ekstatisch und schweißnass.
Ihr Sound wurzelt im Disco der 70er und 80er, den sie leidenschaftlich verehren und immer wieder neu interpretieren. Auf der Bühne verschmelzen Groovegruppe, Bläser und Gesang zu einem kraftvollen Organismus: Die Rhythmusgruppe treibt den Beat voran, die Bläser setzen funky-perkussive oder fanfarenartige Akzente, während die Sängerin, unterstützt von mehrstimmigem Backing, die Bühne mit Power erfüllt – neun Köpfe, ein Herzschlag, und jede Menge Disco-Violett.
